
COMPLETION TIME : Each class will be held for a period of eight weeks. The classes will be eight hours per day, five days a week. Occasionally, Saturday classes may be held to accommodate some guest instructors and to give students time to improve their skill in administering required polygraph examinations.
INTERNSHIP: It is mandatory that each student complete a fieldwork project after graduation from the academic phase of this course. The Arizona School of Polygraph Science has established an internship program to ensure professional, ethical and operational proficiency in real-life case production. A student will have to conduct 25 examinations in the techniques taught at this school after returning to their home base or agency. The final graduation certificate will be awarded upon completion of this project.
ATTENDANCE : Successful completion of the course requires the student to be physically present during 90% of the actual classroom instruction time. All absences from scheduled instruction, regardless of reason, are recorded. Class cuts and tardiness will not be tolerated and will be charged as absences. When absence affects progress or is considered excessive by the director, the student may be dismissed Re-enrollment will be at the discretion of the school. If re-enrolled, the student must re-enter on a probationary basis. All class work missed will be made up on the student's own time. If an instructor has to privately tutor any student, outside of regular school hours, an additional tuition of $50.00 per hour will be charged.
HOLIDAYS: The only holidays observed by the school are New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Any student, whose academic achievements fall to one point G.P.A., will be placed on academic probation for a period of two weeks. Failure to improve to a two point G.P.A. or higher, may result in the student being dismissed.
TUITION REFUND POLICY: In the event a class is postponed or cancelled for any reason or the student fails to show up for class, any and all advance money received by the school will be refunded in full. In the event a student is terminated or resigns voluntarily for any reason during the academic phase of this course, the following adjustments in tuition apply:

Students attending under V. A. schooling will have their tuition pro-rated on refunds in the manner required by V. A. regulations. In the event a student voluntarily withdraws, refunds will be based on the DATE OF RECEIPT of a certified letter of withdrawal.
EXPULSION: Any student found to be violating the ethics of the American Polygraph Association, the rules, regulations and policies of the school or the confidentiality of any polygraph examination viewed during the course, will be expelled from the school. In addition, any student that fails to make prompt payment of monies due the school shall be expelled. The existence of any of the conditions below may result in rejection of the prospective students application or may be grounds for expulsion from the school. These areas will be explored extensively during a polygraph test administered as a part of the school indoctrination.

3. Dishonesty on School Application
4. Dishonesty/Cheating on tests administered by the Arizona School of Polygraph Science
GRIEVANCES: In the event a student has a complaint, grievances or dispute(s) with the school regarding tuition, instructional material, instructors, academic or other matters affecting their studies at the Arizona School of Polygraph Science, it is recommended that the student present their problem in writing to the school. When the school receives such complaint in writing, a meeting will be immediately setup between the student and the instructor in an attempt to resolve the issue. If the mater cannot be resolved, arrangements will be made for the student to meet with the director of the school within two (2) days. After meeting with the director, each complaint will be reviewed and the student will be notified in writing within fifteen (15) days of complaint receipt as to the school's official position in regards to the matter. If the complaint cannot be resolved after exhausting the institution's grievance procedure, the student may file a complaint with the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education. LEAVE OF ABSENCE: In the event a student has a medical or family emergency while enrolled in this course, a leave of absence will be extended. If the leave is less than five days of classroom study, the staff of this school will assist the student in catching up with the class by helping the student with what he or she has missed. If the leave is more than one week, an evaluation will be made concerning the student's ability to catch up with the other students or enroll them in the next class at the point in the course where they had to leave. If the student decides not to continue with the course, the appropriate refund policy will be utilized.
